Push-to-Talk conference microphone systems are a great solution for meetings with constant discussion taking place. The Conference Rental USA wired Push-to-Talk system consists of several delegate microphones which daisy-chain to a central control unit (CCU). The CCU provides all data, power and audio to the delegate microphones. Each delegate microphone contains a built-in speaker, detachable gooseneck microphone, a microphone activation button, speech timer LCD and a request-to-speak LED.
A priority microphone is provided with each system called a chairman microphone. This microphone has the same features as the delegate microphone and also has a “priority button” which, when pressed, will mute all the delegates during the conference proceedings. This feature provides a tool to the leader of the meeting and ultimately allows them more control. This feature provides the leader with a tool to better manage the meeting.
